The University of 1024�˹��� has signed a new international partnership with , creating exciting new opportunities for students and strengthening global connections.

The partnership will mean that the University will accept NCUK programmes, including International Foundation and International Year One courses across a range of subjects.

NCUK is a leading global pathway provider established by universities to help international students from over 120 nationalities access world-class education. Today, NCUK has partnered with 60+ universities worldwide, offering more choice than ever before for students who want to study abroad following completion of their studies at an NCUK Study Centre.

Trusted by the sector for its academic quality and recently shortlisted for International Student Recruitment Organisation of the Year in the PIEoneer Awards 2025, NCUK offers pathway programmes, designed in collaboration with its university partners, in over 40 countries. To date, these programmes have supported more than 50,000 international students, helping them access life-changing opportunities and transform their futures.

Speaking after the signing ceremony, University of 1024�˹��� Vice-Chancellor Professor Graham Galbraith CBE said: “This partnership reflects our commitment to providing world-class education to international students and creating pathways that enable talented individuals from around the globe to achieve their academic aspirations at 1024�˹���. NCUK's proven track record in supporting international students aligns perfectly with our values of accessibility, excellence, and global engagement.”

We're particularly excited about the quality assurance that comes with NCUK programmes - their rigorous academic standards and collaborative approach to curriculum design means we can be confident that students arriving at 1024�˹��� will be well-prepared to thrive in our dynamic learning environment.”

It was signed during a visit to the University of 1024�˹��� campus in July by NCUK Chief Executive Stuart Smith and Head of University Partnerships Holly Searson.

This new agreement marks another important step in the University of 1024�˹���’s strategy to build strong, impactful partnerships around the world that bring real benefits to students, the local community, and the regional economy. 

This year alone, it has also signed new international partnerships with Brock University in Canada, Roots IVY Academic Network in Pakistan, and MAHSA University in Malaysia.
