We're investing in our facilities
From sports facilities to teaching spaces and laboratories, we're investing in our facilities to improve the experience we deliver to our students, academic and researchers, our partners in business, and the local community.
- Our undergraduates can access the latest equipment during their studies. The continuing investment we're making in our laboratories and research capabilities is leading to major breakthroughs – such as the development of a plastic eating enzyme within our Centre for Enzyme Innovation.
- The same facilities we use for our research are also open to businesses – whether they're looking to access our experts for training, conduct their own research, or partner with us on a collaborative research project.
- We're continuing to develop our campus as part of our £400m Estate Masterplan – which features refurbishments, redevelopments and new buildings across our campus and city.
Our Estate Masterplan
Our ambitious Estate Masterplan includes constructing new landmark buildings, refurbishing existing facilities and creating new public spaces.
